Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a must-do dining experience for anyone visiting Walt Disney World! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was filled with fun, laughter, and the unmistakable magic of Disney. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options (including those famous Mickey waffles!), and the characters made sure to visit every table for photos and autographs. Seeing Mickey and friends interact so warmly with guests was truly the highlight of our meal. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to return to Chef Mickey’s on our next trip— it’s the perfect spot for families to create unforgettable memories!

What a classic this is. Honestly just being from my childhood up to now I would give it 5 stars but from a resort perspective I can’t. HOWEVER, the magic is here and you will “feel” like 5 stars especially due to the incredible service and experience. -ask the front desk for the scavenger hunt -book the capital grill at night to see fireworks -go out onto the landing at the corner main floor to sit and watch the fireworks outside. Usually 8pm. Get their early for a good seat -chef mickeys is a good all you can eat. A bit pricey but for children it’s amazing -location of course is great for boat to parks or wilderness lodge. Enjoy!

The Disney Contemporary Resort is our number one choice whenever we visit Disney World! Its walking distance to Magic Kingdom makes it incredibly convenient for our family. The only concern we had during our stay was the lack of complimentary water. I was surprised to find that a small bottle of water from the vending machine cost $4.75, which felt a bit steep. Overall, despite this minor issue, the resort remains a top favorite for its location and amenities.

Loved the Contemporary Resort. My only complaint was the slippery tub and it took more than 12 hours to get a nonslip mat up to our room. The view of Magic Kingdom and the fireworks was awesome. Also enjoyed the restaurants at the resort.

What a breakfast!! The kids got to meet loads of characters up close and personal and have their picture taken with them and the staff were amazing blah blah blah!! But the food….the grated potatoes with crispy bacon and cheese were good enough to have by themselves! It was a buffet, as many visits as you liked. The choice was excellent. The quality matched that. It was my first experience of Mickey waffles, which, once soaked in syrup were the fluffiest waffles I’ve ever had. Plutos punch to wash it all down was delicious. Only regret is that you’ve then got to go on the rides and risk bringing it all back up! 🤣
